B&B Palazzo Zacā
The history of the B & B and the building that houses it

The old palace, owned by the Zacā family since begin of 1900, is one of the most authentic example of civil engineering of 1700.
The charming residence maintained all its brightness thanks to the care and restructuring work carried out during years. From the entrance hall the marvellous marble stairs with vaulted ceilings and illuminated by large arched windows are leading to the noble floor of the building. The internal part keeps intact the linearity of the liberty style shown in the chromatic refinement of the old floor and the paintings in the main rooms.
In line with the portal are the tool sheds with access to an internal garden, a small paradise with its chapel and paths decorated with columns, like a jewel in the centre of the palace. You are invited to relax in this green haven of peace among the citrus and jasmine fragrance which contributes to rank this residence as one of the most interesting in town.
The Zacā palace comprises four very spacious and bright rooms, each different in style and dimensions. They are furnished with refinement and offer high comfort: private bathroom, led TV, safe, air conditioning with local control, fridge, hair drier. Some rooms have view on the large Mediterranean garden whereas one has a private and furnished patio to spend in complete privacy the warm summer evenings.
Guests have also access to four halls with vaulted ceilings which maintain unchanged the aristocratic charm going on between preservation spirit and renewal will.
The Zacā's palace is surely the place to spend unforgettable holidays, immerged in greenery and silence, although in Gallipoli's old town centre, near to the cathedral, the main sights, the famous Purity beach and the "movida's" places.
